One month after the accident , I left the hospital and went to ABBR (BRAZILIAN REABILITATION CENTER), where I was addimited for one year together with my mom. There, I felt secure and protected because the doctors cooporation were professional and competent.
In ABBR I got used to a new life stuck on a wheel-chair.Untill today I am stil connected to ABBR group, not only because of the medical treatment of doctor Ana Luiza, who is also known as the maximum authority in requimedular treatment of Rio de Janeiro, but also because my friendship with everyone there.
Nowadays, my days start at 5:30 in the morning, when I wake up to go to school. From sunday through sunday I follow many sessions of fisiotherapy that are only followed as a rule because of my strenght, courage and willpower to reach my goal to walk again!" My friend Georgette Vidor, Olympic gym teatcher that became tethraplegic after a car accident, is the one who says that no sedentary people have great chances to walk again .
It was because of my strenght and willpower the reason why I recovered completally the moviments of my arms and hands. Today I can already study, write and get dressed, all by myself.
